Our Story & How We Made it Happen!
We started small. Initially building Coastal Letting Co, Chris de Closey, Luke Shore & Terry Koorockin quickly built this business from 0 to 80 rooms inside of 2 years.
The acquisition of Terry’s then Gold Coast Holiday Services(a staple on the short term rental scene on the GC for over 20 years) supercharged the business growth.
Our Managing Director Chris quickly became known for his approach to building a short term rental business and was invited to build Holiday Management Co, alongside local real estate agents in the Kingscliff region.
This business built just as quick and then the opportunity arose to acquire PRD Burleigh Heads holiday letting department. This business was on the Coast for 30+ years, its reputation for holiday letting was longstanding.
When we acquired PRD Holidays (rebranded to Burleigh Letting Co) we ran the businesses as 3 separate arms, providing a central support network through Chris’ consulting agency – Switch Hotel Solutions.
A decision in 2024 was made amongst all partners to amalgamate the 3 brands to what is now known as Coastal Letting Group. This created the largest holiday letting agency on the Gold Coast.
What has come since is a combined team and focus – to take our skills throughout Australia through key acquisitions and growth regions and show property owners the true value of partnering with industry leaders.
